She finished her Post Graduation in Sociology. Worked as assistant in the department of Oncology, Cancer Institute for more than 10yrs. Served as Medical Social worker in WHO and ICMR Projects (Cancer Institute and Community medicine, SRMC ) for 4 yrs. She was actively involved in the collection of Morbidity Data for Ozone Project(ICMR). Her present role as JRF in SRMC is to work with Selection of participants and to deal with health and nutrition related aspects.
